Last updated: 16 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how MyMurthi (operated in connection with Bemyco; “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use:
- Our public website at https://mymurthi.com
- Our shop-owner web app at https://app.mymurthi.com
- Our Android / mobile applications published as MyMurthi
By using MyMurthi, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Who this Policy covers
- Visitors who browse public shop listings, maps, and model pages
- Shop owners and staff who create accounts and manage bookings, inventory, expenses, billing, and website settings
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use MyMurthi, we may collect:
- Account details: name, email address, mobile number, password (stored in hashed form), shop name, and business address
- Business & operational data: customer names and phone numbers you enter for bookings, idol/model inventory, photos you upload, payments you record, expenses, staff logins, invoices, and related shop records
- Public listing data: city, area, WhatsApp number, shop description, cover/gallery photos, and map coordinates you choose to show on the public website
- Location data: approximate or precise location when you allow it — for example to find nearby shops as a visitor, to set a shop map pin, or (for owners/staff) to record login location for security
- Device & usage data: IP address, browser/app type, device identifiers needed for app operation, crash/diagnostic logs, and basic analytics of how features are used
- Payment-related data: subscription/package selection and payment status. Card and UPI payments for subscriptions are processed by Razorpay; we do not store full card numbers on our servers

4. Legal bases (where applicable)
We process personal data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), with your consent (e.g. location permission), for legitimate interests (security, product improvement), and where required by law.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Service providers who help us host, email, send OTP, store media, or process payments (including Razorpay), under appropriate safeguards
- The public, only for information shop owners intentionally publish (e.g. shop name, city, photos, WhatsApp, map pin on mymurthi.com)
- Authorities when required by applicable law or to protect rights and safety
Customer booking data entered by a shop remains under that shop’s control for their business use inside MyMurthi; we process it to provide the product to that shop.
